- Whatever you should buy depends from what you need. If you need a
- ISDN-router for 4 lines you should buy a router or use an old 386 with
- standard ISA cards. If you need a multi functional device for V.34,
- FAX, ISDN X.75, standalone FAX receiving, ... for *all* your connections
- to the world from your home or your office, you could by a Elite 2864I
- or something like that.

- Another important thing is the OS you're running.
- I *only* run Unix'es at home and I don't see much drivers for the
- ISA-cards for "my" Unix SVR4.2 system, but I've good drivers (sas) for
- the RS232 port (up to 115.200) and have good software for FAX (HylaFAX)
- and for PPP (ppp-0.85) and so I prefer an *external* modem/TA.
